Huffines Hyundai McKinney Deceptive Advertisement, Tricking, unethical

Buyer be aware! We received a postcard advertisement in the mail from Huffines Hyundai located in the Dallas, TX metroplex. Here are their locations:

On front of the postcard it read something like Get $6k off a Hyundai and it had a picture of a Hyundai Sonata (value about $22k). We went to the dealership and talked to the salesman who told us the $6k was not on the Sonata, but on the top of line vehicle, the Genesis (value about $45k).

I ask the salesman why was the picture of the Sonata was on the postcard when the discount was for the Genesis.in fact, the Sonata wasnt even on sale! The salesman said the postcard didnt say Sonata it just states Hyundai, but he never gave a reason for the Sonata being on the postcard.

My problem with Huffines is that they place the Sonata on front of the postcard along with the Get $6k off of a Hyundai because they knew people would think it was for the Sonata and would come into the dealership. My point is that if you have to TRICK people into coming into your dealership, then you are not an honest or ethical business. I look at it like this; if you will TRICK me into coming into your dealership then you will TRICK me on something else (the contract, paper work, warranty, finance charges, etc.)

Im writing this report because Im upset (MAD AS HELL) they wasted my time. The salesmen knew we where coming to test-drive the Sonata and we told him we had the postcard advertisement. Secondly, Im just TRIED of car dealers taking advantage of people just to make a sale. Why not be HONEST for once!
