The united equitable auto insurance company denied a vehicle theft claim based on the assumption the vehicle owner left keys in the vehicle, it was never recovered. A complaint was filed with the Illinois dept of insurance, Ron Clark the claims manager said they never received a signed affidavit. C copy and mail deliver confirmation receipt was submitted and then they stopped communication.
The vehicle was stolen in October the denial came in January.
There was also supplimental insurance on the vehicle, because United Equitable took over 90 days to respond the secondary insurance DEFAULTED.
