Sikorsky charged me 2500.00 without my consent

I have an auto loan with Sikorsky, and they have charged me a $2500.00 insurance that they purchased on my behalf for the 2002 Ford Explorer for the time period for which it was stolen. I reported the theft of my auto to my credit union when they sent me a letter stating that they don't have any verification of insurance on file, So I spoke to Nancy who is a branch manager in Milford CT and explained that the vehicle was stolen and my insurance company (progressive) Has declined the claim, I was told that the matter will be taken care of, now about almost a year latter I came to find out not through the credit union but through my credit report that they have purchased an insurance on my behalf for a stolen vehicle. It is only common sense that a stolen vehicle does not need any insurance on it. So I am looking to get refunded as this charge only exists for the failure of my credit union to keep on record that there is no need to purchase insurance on this vehicle. I have talked to one of the managers in the loan dept her name is Lorie at 203-377-2252 at ex. 7315 who refuses to refund the money. They know that because they messed up now they have to pay out of their pockets so they refused to pay it and they were actually expecting the insurance company to refund them so they can refund me.
