Faulty Brakes Installed

I got new front brake pads installed at pep boys in west hills 6 or 7 months ago. After picking up my car the brake light started coming on so I brought it back and they looked at everything and said nothing is wrong its just a faulty light. On Thursday I parked at the metro station as I take the bus to work and when I went to brake the brakes made an obnoxious noise but I parked and headed to work.

When returning from work I got in the car and went into reverse and stepped on the gas... The car wouldnt go anywhere the brakes had locked up. I had the car towed to my dads friends shop. The next morning when I talked to the guy at the shop he said that the passengers side front brake pad was broken into pieces. That whoever had installed it before installed a faulty brake pad. Because the brake pad broke into pieces it also ruined my roater (not sure if I spelled that correctly).

When confronted they did not care about what happened. I travel a lot with my almost 2 year old son in the car and this could have injured both of us. This is the second issue I have had with them... The first one was I got two rear tires installed there around the time I got the new brakes. Two days after getting the new tires I got a nail in my tire. When I got the tires they said that any tire patching would be free when you purchase your tires from them.

When I took the car there to get the tire patched they said that it would be 25 dollars and that they dont offer that anymore. I got the tires two days before what do you mean you dont offer that anymore. It was a small amount of money but when asked about why they are doing that the attitude they had and disregard for my anger is what made it a big deal.
