Goss Tire tried to sell me a brake job that wasn't needed

I had new snow tires put on by Goss Tire Company. After the tires had been installed the manager told me my rear brakes were in immediate need of replacement. He went so far as to say it was dangerous to drive the vehicle with the brakes in that condition. Today I had the car inspected by my regular mechanic. It passed.

Without telling him what Goss Tire told me, I asked how the brakes looked. I was told front and rear are in fine condition. Goss Tire Company tried to rip me off for parts and labor for a problem that did not exist. If they tried it on me I am sure they try it all the time. Stay away from this fraudulent company!
