Warranty scam / poor customer service

I bought a muffler from progress auto-parts (AAP) and mounted it myself on a single time. I realized that it didn't match right therefore thought it had been the incorrect component, I'm not really a muffler man so just how may I understand? AAP explained that it had been the right component and so I got the muffler to some muffler look to determine when they might make it healthy. The muffler shop explained they couldn't repair it since it was broken beyond restoration and was obviously a manufacturer problem. I got these details back again to AAP plus they declined to recognize the lifetime guarantee. Obviously that I'll never store at AAP again. I recommend visitors to complete exactly the same.
