Ripoff dishonest fraudulent business and industry practices

I took my antique mercedes benz into the dealership for repairs after an accident (est. $8,500). After years of excuses, the dealership claims to have performed and extra $10,000 in additional yet unauthorized repairs. An important point is that the additional repairs they claim to have performed did not require any parts what so ever!

The car was examined by the insurance company, county authorities and an antique car appraiser and none of them could find any evidence of additional work performed, in fact the dealership itself could not point out the extra work they claimed to have performed. The dealership concluded that the money went into the pockets of the employees.

Yet the dealership wanted me to reimburse them for half of their loss. A second issue involves poor quality of work. Within months the new paint on my antique Mercedes Benz began to peel. A third issue is that the dealership forged on signature on the insurance claim check and cashed it. A fourth issues is that the dealership presented false and disputed documents to state authorities to obtain control of the vehicle. Finally, county consumer affairs auto inspectors tried for weeks to examine the car.

When finally given the chance, the dealership had gone ahead and undercoated the vehicle and destroying the evidence and any possibility of photographing the fact the additional repairs had not been performed. Immediately after the inspectors left, the dealership had the vehicle transported out of the state and out of the reach of state authorities.investigations continue.
