Charged too much

I traded my 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara on a 2008 Suzuki XL7 demo. I was told that the dealership bought the vehicle for a good price. The price I paid for it with 13900 miles on it was $29500 which is the price of a brand new vehicle. The vehicle has a couple of minor dents and defects inside. I was told that they had to roll the negative equity on the Grand Vitara into this vehicle which is alright.

I have seen vehicles online that compare to mine and even with less miles for around $19000. I find it hard to believe that with 266 miles on my Grand Vitara, I had around $10000 negative equity. I feel I got ripped off and nothing will change that. The figures were not gone over with me. I had to get my father-in-law to sign the papers as the vehicle is in his name but I am making payments and carrying the insurance on it.

I never went over the papers because I assumed I was getting a good deal. I was wrong. Bottom line, I overpaid for this vehicle big time. If I was aware of the numbers for this deal, I would have kept the Grand Vitara. At least I would have been paying for a brand new vehicle and not new vehicle price for a used one. Never again!
