Told us or alternator and Battery were bad but they had no idea they were just put in the car

We took our 2002 BMW 330ci to Scott Delongs for a check engine light. He told us he put the car on a computer and the results were bad alternator and
battery. We new that could not be since they were just replaced. He wanted $800 to fix it. He held our car hostage until we paid him $175 cash for the computer test which he showed no prof of doing and for taking our alternator off which we never asked him to do. We paid the $175 just to get the car out of that crooks place. We then took the Battery to the parts store where it was purchased and the test results showed it was good. We also took the alternator to BP rebuilders inc. Who build alternators and they disassembled and bench tested. They put in writing that the alternator was ok and in new conditon. We also had to pay to have the car towed to another auto service to put the alternator back on which cost$145. Scott Delong kept most of the bolts to mount the part so that cost us even more to replace. So after $450 we finally got our car back to the orignal form before taking to Scott Delong.

We are now in the procees of taking Scott Delong to small claims court in cobb county.
