Holding my deposit hostage

On Sept. 29th (after searching for a used car for over a month) I put a $200.00 deposit on a car at Bel-Air Auto Sales in Milford CT. The owner Greig
D'Agostino Jr. Seemed like a nice guy, maybe even someone you would trust until my financing fell through... The next day I went to my credit union who had previously told me I could finance a car through them to find out since the stock market bottomed out they were putting a hold on risky loans and an auto loan was considered a risky loan.

After leaving the bank I called Greig and asked for my deposit back, first he said no then he said if he sold the car he would refund my money... I never thought he would keep my money!!! TIMES ARE BAD ENOUGH!
He then offered to try to finance the car through them,

At that point becoming desperate for a car, (my old car was totaled in an accident) since I had no other transportation to get back and forth to work I agreed...

He called me back a couple of days later and said he found a bank to finance me accept they wanted $ 3,480.00 down... He knew I did'nt have that much,
I told him from the beginning I only had 2,000.00 in which I already gave him $200.00.. Again I asked for my deposit back in which he said NO!!! He told me he would give me a couple of weeks to come up with the extra money.

I don't have the extra money, I can't pull the extra money out of a hat, and I just want my money back... I did not receive anything for my $200.00 and I will not let him get away with this!!
