Owner dishonest... Crook... Bad business practices... Liar... Cheate

I took our vehicle to him due to a blown head. The truck had alot of miles on it so we decided to have a new long block engine put in it instead of replacing just the head. I called ahead and told him where I wanted the engine to come from and he gave me a price and a time frame of 3-5 business days to have job complete. It took alot longer than that.

After a Month, we were told the truck was ready. We picked it up that night and paid Seth Walters 2200.00. My husband drove the truck the next day and we had to have it towed home. We were extremely frustrated. We called Seth and he said he would come by and look at the truck. Guess what he never showed up. Tried to contact him again and he would not return my calls.

I then called my bank to see if the check had cleared yet, they informed me that it was due to clear my account at midnight. The bank rep said that he would try and place a stop payment but could not guarantee that it would work because the debit was already showing as pending against my account. A Big Kudos to Amegybank because it did work. Seth did show up at my home 4 days later with his head mechanic, so he is called. When they got to my home, they were unprepared and had to borrow tools from me to fix my truck.

Now this did not seem right. They did not come with any tools and they work as MECHANICS. They ended up having it towed back to the shop because they could not figure out what was wrong. I told Seth that when the job was complete, I would write him another check. I drove by his shop a few times and did not see my truck there so I was getting concerned. Then one day, a guy that works with my husband called and said that they had put a FOR SALE sign on the truck.

Needless to say, I had to go through the court system and file suit. Well we went to court almost a year later and the judge could not beleive what i had been through. He ruled in my favor for 2200.00 for the cost of the engine job and he could keep the truck. Seth met me in the hallway afterwards and offered the truck back to me in liu of the 2200.00 because he did not have any money. He also said that he would send me the warranty on the engine.

So I took the truck back. I have since had the truck looked at by another mechanic who has informed me that the engine is not new and that WILSONS AUTO had replaced the head and put my original engine back in the truck. I have gone back to his shop to get the warranty but he could not produce it and called the police on me to have me removed from his property. I will continue to get the word out regarding Seth Walters business practices and will not rest until he is OUT OF BUSINESS. Seth walters is a lair and con artist. Consumers beware. Do not trust him. He is a rip off
