American Engine Installations
Took 7 months to install a new engine in a mazda truck ripoff

Cars & Transport

On February 4 My husband 1992 Mazada B2600 was tow to there shop to put a new engine in the truck. My husband gave them a deposit and was told the truck would be ready in (7-10) days.

The month of February went by, They said we ran into a problem, but we're going to staight it out and the truck will be ready. He went back a few days later no motor, no mechanic, parts all over the floor and nobody could say when the truck was going to be ready.

Every month they were giving us a different story. What actually happen the mechanic quit, hired a new mechanic, brought a no good engine, took our money, got smart, was very unruley, rip us off and was not worth the time and trouble. When they did finally give us the truck in May they tried to charge us more money because, the head mechanic did not know how to add or subtract. After we drove the truck for a day, he had to take the truck back because it was smoking. We got it back it still was not ready, each month it was some kind of excuse.

Finally I call the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, ATTONERY GENERAL, FOX 6 ON MY SIDE, and I had to get an attonery.By August of My lawyer call the head company and they contact the owner of that franchise. He had to pack his backs and drive from SOUTH CAROLINE To ALABAMA TO straight out a problem that could have been done right in the beginning.

I advise anybody don't take your vehicle to AMERICAN ENGINE INSTALLTION for a new motor, because it will sit there for years if you don't speak up.
