$99 Rip-off Bait and Switch Tactics turns to $403 Estimate Houston Texas

I called Seth at Just Brakes for an estimate installing ceramic brake pads on my 2004 Dodge Pick-up as soon as a squeal started in my truck (38,098 miles). I was told the ceramic pads "weren't good for my truck", that they would "ruin my rotors, " would add a "few hundred dollars" to the cost of my repair and the Just Brakes Brand brake pad was "warrrantied for life" for only $99. After a few hours I got a call from Seth, bad news, all 4 rotors were shot and couldn't be turned (My first brake job at 38,098 miles) and the cost is now $403.

After I went back to the shop to see my "no good" and "disposable" Dodge brake rotors, I told him to just install the pads and put the truck back together.

My Just Brakes $99 Lifetime warranty now reads "Brakes may squeak, pull, pulsate, run hot, and wear out prematurely."
