Took money and did not deliver product. No communication!

I was looking for a set of replacement seats for a pickup that we are restoring. I put a request into a auto parts search engine and Mike Reimann sent me an email stating that he had the seats I was looking for. We emailed back and forth several times and then he called me that evening. We agreed on a price of $850 delivered and he took my credit card information. The seats were to be delivered within two weeks to my shop.

After a couple of weeks had passed I became concerned that I had not received the seats. I checked with the credit card company and I had indeed been charged the $850. I called Mike again and after a couple of days he returned my call. He told me that his usual company, Freight Lines, did not deliver to Roswell, NM but that he would find another hauler. Later that day he called back and said that he had found a company and that my seats would arrive in three days. This short of delivery time sounded suspicious so I started doing some research on Mike and his company.

I found numerous entries on this website regarding Mike Reimann and his companies. Even more disturbing was an entry two months ago in Temple, Texas where Mike told the buyer the same story as he told me, that Freight Lines would not deliver to Temple. That buyer never received his seats or money back. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt, but after another three weeks I had no seats.

I began calling and emailing Mike on a daily basis. He has never returned a phone call or email. Today I called the credit card company and reported a fraud. They reversed my charges so I should not be out the money any longer.

Buyer beware of Mike Reimann and European Auto Parts! He has over 90 complaints against him by the better business bureau and has changed his business name several times. Below are the names and numbers that I have been able to come up with.
