WORST Customer Service - Delays until out of Warranty - Roadmate 760

I received a Roadmate 760 for Christmas from my family in 2006.
I use this unit when travelling on business.
Starting around April when booting up in a rental car after flying, the unit would not Track or have GPS movement. Called customer service and was told to reset the Unit.
I performed the reset with no results, packed the unit up and could not use it on the Trip.
After returning home and resetting again - the 760 eventually started working.
Again in October the same thing happened on another trip. Called Customer Service and was instructed to Reset the unit again. Again no results.
Back home however, the unit did not reset.
Went on another trip in October and tried again in the Rental car. Again had to call Customer service - and was told again to reset the unit.
November and December I contacted customer service twice each month.
Each call after April - they had no record of my previous calls - and informed me to reset the unit.
I had already informed them my patience ws gone with this unit and their insistence that I "Reset" the unit.
No results - no GPS function.
I called again in January and - again no record - was told to Reset the unit.
This company has not taken the responsibility and accountability of Customer Service seriously - at all.
I have been deferred repeatedly to the point that I am now told - your unit is OUT OF WARRANTY. The Customer Service manager on my last call advised me to BUY another Magellan unit sisne they do not repair this model any longer!
No More!
For the few hundred Bucks - OK - you got me.
Never again will I or anyone I know - support or buy another Magellan product.
