I went to Asheville Ford on a Saturaday browsing for a Ford Explorer. I should have known when no one offered to help me since I am a female and it was ALL men outside "talking". I had to approach them to even get help!

I had already in mind what I wanted because I had been "shopping" for a bit on the internet comparing cars and prices. I test drove the car along with my mom.in the mean time I had filled out my credit application to be ran while we were out. I told the sales man the neighborhood of where I wanted my payments at etc., had them look over my 2007 Toyota Camry for trade etc.

I kept the Explorer for about 2 hrs and returned. Well needless to say, it was a joke by then. They start with this BULLS* about all the extras in with financing. After finally getting through to them exactly what I wanted the loan was approved at 2.9%. OK-great I ask three times are you sure this is locked in—I was assured by 3 different people and proceeded to sign ALL the papers.

Story just really gets started. I had the Explorer for a week when I receive a call telling me I needed to come sign the rest of the papers. Mind you I had signed ALL of the papers and was approved for 2.9% with FORD MOTOR CREDIT. I ask what papers—was never given a straight answer so I did not go in. 2 days later I get a call from Joe the used car manager in a really pissy mood telling me they could pay my trade in off until I signed papers.

Again I ask what papers—"there were a few" not signed. I again ask what papers—at this point he was just rude. My daughter and I stopped by to see what papers and why my payoff had not been sent in. Well to my surprise it was a BRAND NEW contract with the interest rate bumped to 5.9%

I refused to sign and told him I would be back for my Camry the next morning. How convient for the management that they were all at the car auction in Statesville so this was drug out for a couple of days. They tried everyway to "take money" off the Explored that would have been interest etc. Which they were just screwing with me with numbers. I finally got pissy and flat told them to give me my car and down payment back

So DON'T BUY FROM THEM—they are very rude (especially to women) they are not TRUSTWORTHY and just LIARS
