Ray gozzi - maverick transport: beware! Low life company here, fired me for nothing

Beware this company is dirtier than dirt! I started driving for this company on 11/18/07 Hauling Walmart Freight. On 12/29/07 I call to get my load for the day as usual. (We slip seated by the way) Me: "Good morning Ray I'm calling in to see what I have to do today." Ray: "HEY HERMAN WHAT DID YOU DO WITH YOUR FUEL CARD LAST NIGHT?" Me: "I didnt see a fuel card last night". Ray: "Well DONT YOU KNOW YOU'RE SUPPOSE TO REFUEL THE TRUCK?" Me: "My truck didn't need fuel it already had 3/4 of a tank" Ray: WELL YOU ARE STILL SUPPOSE TO PUT FUEL IN THE TRUCK" Me: "Well like I said the truck didn't need fuel plus there wasn't a fuel card in the truck so how could I put fuel in the truck?" Ray: "Well you should've went in the office and got a fuel card." Me: That was'nt possible because it was 3:30 in the morning and your office was locked up and there wasn't anyway i could have put fuel in the truck even if it needed fuel". Ray: "Well if you dont like working here you need to find you another job. I'm tired of you telling me what you are'nt gonna do." (I never said i didn't like working there and I never told him what I wasn't going to do.) Me: How come you didn't say something to that other guy who didn't put fuel in the truck that I drove the other day which was well below empty and when I called you you flew off the handle at me?" Ray: "Hangs up phone" Me: "Calls back" Ray: "Hangs up phone again" Me: "Calls Back" He wouldn't give me a chance to say anything else. So monday I call Des Moines IA (headquarters) and reports Ray Gozzi. A lady answers the phone, I tell her what happened over the weekend. She doesn't seem too surprised at Ray (maybe because he has always had this nasty attitude.) She tells me that she is going to call his terminal in henderson nc and have him give me a call. So Ray calls me on the phone and says "YOU'RE TERMINATED". I asked what for? He says for failure to follow their fuel policy and insubordination. (By the way they dont have a fuel policy) Prior to me being terminated, Ray had Fired another black guy that worked in the office. Yes im black and yes i think Ray is a racist, thanks for reading my story and if you're looking to go to work for ruan, all I can say is you must be desperate.
