Mike Jones They took my trade in

I had been contacted excessively about purchasing a vehicle, by salesman Mike Jones throughout this past summer.in Sept. 07 I was in dire need of a vehicle for work purposes.

So decided to go ahead and try to obtain one from Vicksburg Ford, I stayed at the establishment for almost 4 hours before receiving temporary approval from Drive Financial.

I had 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a trade, and they offered me $1000 for it.
I did not have the enough employment time to get approval so Mr. Jones told me that if I gave him $300, he would take care of the rest (I knew it was something crooked).

I kept the car for almost 2 weeks and drove around 1000 miles but it just so happened that I did not get approval due to Drive not being able to verify my employment. Mike Jones told them that I had been working for 3 years (Id been working for 3 months) and earned about $2500/monthly, which was correct.

They called me and told me that I was turned down for financing with drive, but they would try to get financing elsewhere. But I told them that i had changed my mind about the vehicle and that I wanted cancel the contract.

Mike Jones told me to return the vehicle as soon as possible, so I did. When I arrived they kept me in their establishment for almost 3 hours trying to pull every tactic possible to get me to change my mind about cancelling the contract.

But I held firm, I ended up losing my trade in (98 Jeep Grand Cherokee) and the $300 I advanced Mr. Jones because of an agreement that I signed with them. My experience was truly a well paid for lesson. But please don't car shop @ VICKSBURG FORD in Ms
