Vicksburg Ford
5 Dat Pre-Auction Sale is a SCAM!

Miscellaneous

I received a pre-auction sale brochure along with a key, the brochure stated that you have won a prize (see below) just for stopping by, in the mail Jan.

Prizes included a new car, a cell phone, $100.00 cash, a LCD flat screen TV and a $1000.00 shopping spree certificate. Keep in mind that the brochure stated that if the winning number matched the key you have won a prize just for stopping by.

I stopped by on the first day of the sale and registered as required by the brochure at Vicksburg Ford. After the dealership ran my credit and appraised my vehicle I was advised that I was to upside down on my vehicle to trade it in.

It clearly states on the bottom of the brochure in large letters (Trade in pay off guarantee-We'll pay it off, no matter how much you owe). After questioning the sales person and showing him the bottom of the brochure I never got a straight answer.

I then gave him the key I received in the mail, in which he turned and looked at a copied paper that had five numbers listed on it. He stated that your key number matches the $1000.00 shopping spree. And gave us a book which contained coupons to save a $1000.00 on different items.

After reviewing the book you have to register to receive the coupons via the internet or fax and upon sending in said coupons you have to pay a $2,00 processing fee for each coupon you send in.

In short my credit was run and shows that on my credit report, and I still have nothing to show except less gas in my tank and more money to spend on coupons I probably cant use anyway.
