Repossesed car after payments were made making car current ripoff Roseland New jersey

I am a single mom who has been out of work on medical disability since late Feb. I have made my car payments late due to waiting for disability checks. I faxed Drive all the state disability documentation and kept them apprised of payment dates and arrangements. Although late, I continued to make monthly payments. When due to go back to work in early June my position had been eliminated. I now was waiting for unemployment.

Drive sent a repo co to my home @ 5 am they banged on the windows of my 3 daughters (18,17 and 15) bedroom windows w/police flashlights. The car was wedged in. My partner asked them to return in the afternoon (they wanted to drive over the lawn) after we could speak to Drive Financial Services. He called @ 7 CT and made the 2 payments for me making me current.

Drive had my car towed @ 6pm that evening. (We called 2 times during the day 10 am and 1pm, after that to assure all was properly taken care of) We then proceeded to undergo 2-3 hours of tortotorous phone calls from Rick and Shamika and a few other nasty horrible emotionally abusive Drive representatives that told me that the car was theirs until it ws paid in full and technically they could take it whenever they wanted to! It is now 10 am and my car is still missing. No one will help me.
