Cannot get my name off car loan after ex took the car

I got a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant in 2002 ok for me to go to work and my children father took it away and I called drive and asked them to take my name off the car loan they said no now he don't even pay for the car so they repo the car then they finally decide to call me and tell me that they found the car if I wanted it so I paid 1000.00 dollars to get the car back

I told them can he still get the vehicle they said no I asked if I could change the lock in the vehicle they said no also so I get up to go to work like two weeks later the cars was gone I called drive and told them about it they said there is nothing that they can do because his name is on the account well I had not seen the car in almost a year now and they keep harassing me about that they are going to take legal actions against me

I told them I didn't know where the car was then like a month ago my kids grandmother called and said she was sending 500.00 dollars if I could send it to the car payment I said yes so that drive could stop harassing me so I send them then I send 500.00 more like three days ago now I feel as though I shouldn't be the one getting harassed by drive if I've been asking them to help me get the car or even to take my name off

I have my four children to take care of all by my self because their father isn't around and on top of that I have to pay for a car that I don't have now he is making his payments they said but my name is still there and all I do is pay the tickets on the car and the payments of the car now Mr. Harold Hamilton is very rude when I speak to him about this situation he just yells at me and tells me that is not his problem can some one please help me try to get my name off this account
