Williams & Associates
Ripoff Fraudulent presentation to get an agreement contract signed

Cars & Transport

The representative for Williams & Associates, Howard Sternberg, was very adept at his presentation. At the interview and on the first day he stated that the training had a fee, and then proceeded to tell the class that * Auto Dealership had jobs for all of us. He even asked us to decide on a preference of car brand we would like to sell. To maintain and enhance our interest, he said he had privileged knowledge of an announcement within a few weeks that the * Auto Dealership was going to open 2 more dealerships. He nodded yes when asked if they would be on the same road.
The training was minimal.in spite of this, the potential compensation description was extensive (commissions, bonus types and cash amounts, spiffs, etc.). Because of the excitement generated by the constant reinforcement that the Auto Dealership had positions for us all, especially with the opening of 2 more dealerships, I decided to pay the training fee of $698.00. We could not interview with Ron, the Sales Manager, until this was done. I was led to believe the interview was to determine at which dealership I would be working.

To my surprise, the interview with Ron was not about which dealership I would be working at, but rather whom he would hire! To my shock and dismay, I was not one of those whom he decided to hire! I had paid $698.00, received very little training for one day and given only a chance to have a five minute interview at the dealership.

In hindsight, I feel very much deceived by this whole process. We "trained" in the Auto Dealership conference room. I spent $698.00 and all I got was a 5 minute interview with Ron.

All of this transpired under the banner of the "* Auto Group". Before this happened, I had a very positive feeling about *. I purchased the Neon from * that I still drive.in the past I purchased a Dodge Van from your dealership.

I expected to be treated ethically and be dealt with honestly.instead, I feel that I was misled and stripped of money that I couldn't afford to lose.

Williams & Associates' agent Howard Sternberg fraudulently inflated the employment opportunities to ensure that the training fee agreement of $698.00 would be signed.

The Sales Presentation is a classic example of the definition of Fraud -1. A deception deliberately practiced in order to secure unfair or unlawful gain.
2. A piece of trickery; a trick.
