False Advertising

I responded to a newpaper ad offering a job at Keith Pierson Toyota, here after referred to as KPT.

The ad was for new sales associates. It claimed to provide free training.

The "free" training ended up costing $700.

To not dragg this out too long, I arrived for my interview at KPT. After a 4 hour wait I interviewed by an associate of Williams and Associates. He claimed that to his busy schedule Mr. Pierson, along with many other dealers in the area use him to aid them in training and to give KPT recommedations on the canidates applying for employment at his dealership. Well, looking at dealership it seemed the would be a good idea for KTP.

The Williams Associate conducted a 3 day training program. On the 3rd day we were told we would go over to KTP to be interviewed by 3 managers. We went over to KTP at 3:00 pm on Friday. I was given a 5 min. Of an interview in which the manager ask me qestions about my family.

At 6 pm, The Williams Assoc. Told us that do to the business of the day, the were suspending interviews. He told us he would call us by 10 am on Saturday if we had been declined. So, basically, if you didn't hear from him by 10 am on Sat. To let us know we were declined.

All during the training he stated that all of us had the potential to be very good sales associates.

Needless to say he did call Sat. To let me know I had not been choosen. Yet not to worry. You also got lifetime, nationwide job placement service.

I was given a web site to go to. This was to register me for job placement.

Needless to say, the site was bogus.

Shame on you Mr. Pierson for being involved with a group like this.
