I had the same problems with triad. My car got repoed after being a mont and a half behind in my payments. They had called my job so many times and threatend my supervisors. Telling them to tell me that they were on their way to pick up my car from work. My supervisors had several arguments with them. I did get my car back. When I paid the money to get my car back I called to tell them how I could get my car back. I was told that I couldn't cause it was in Illinois. I lived in Michigan. Why would they take it to Illinois. I was told that it was illegal for them to take the car out of state without me getting a chance to pay it. I found out that my car was in Homer Michigan. I had filed a complaint with BBB.

Needless to say I never heard from them until a year later. I finally paid the car off. I am now living in SC and the DMV wanted to know why triad didnt release the title. They gave me a letter stating that the title will soon follow the letter. I had to switch my MI plate to a SC plate. They did it with the letter and the title with the lean on it. So I had so many problems with the company while I had the car financed with them. I am so glad that I dont have to deal with them anymore. I was so glad to call them to pay off my car. But needless to say I still think they got way too much money from me. Triad are loan sharks. The will not hesitate to come and get your car. They drug the car out of the drive way and left skid marks going down the street. When I got my car back my front tires were bald. YES!!! Bald. When they brought the car out of the lot all the mud was stuck on the tires cause I had no tread left. Be careful everyone. I wish everyone luck in getting this lawsuit. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with them still.
