Ripoff wrongfully repoed my vehicle

My husband was deployed to Iraq for 15 months. During those months, Triad would not send a monthly statement, they said "they weren't required to because we were protected by the government". Because my husband was making half his normal income, we did get behind, but NEVER did not pay something.

Finally, we get a letter from Triad, stating the acconut was a charge off, and we needed to pay the full amount or surrender the vehicle. I spoke with Ms. Burnell, who told me Triad would accept 75% of the payoff, and that I had 24-48 hours to get back to her.

Two hours later, the vehicle was taken from my driveway. Triad never reported the vehicle as a repo to the police, and had some "private investigator" leave threatening messages on our machine saying there were 2 felonies being filed in our county against my husband.

After leaving 16 messages for this Ms. Burnell, and Armando, they finally returned my call, claiming my husband held a gun to the repo man. IMPOSSIBLE - we don't own a gun, nor were we home! Needless to say, we got an attorney, and they returned the vehicle one week to the day, back to our home. But - our tires were "replaced" with bald slick tires, not even the right size.

So now the attorney is going after them to replace the tires with the correct ones that were on the vehicle when they WRONGFULLY STOLE OUR VEHICLE! This company has been shady, and lied to us over and over again.
