Ripoff fraudulent ripoff business

We bought a new Mustang GT from Mossey Ford in San Diego, California. There was something wrong with the brakes at 16000 miles. We faxed them 3 different shop findings and they stated that either the shops didn't know what they were talking about, that we were driving the car incorrectly or that the shops were trying to charge us money to fix it.

We pointed out the on all three of the shop findings, it said that the problem was under warranty and we should take it to the dealer to fix. They didn't like that and gave us more excuses. We've been fighting this battle since October. It's now July.

The transmission went out on the car and it was replaced. The tech hinted that it was the way the car was driven. We have since found out that transmissions on 2001 Mustang GTs have been recalled and got no apology.

We took the car in for an oil change and they broke the bolt on the bottom of the oil pan and forgot to give us the tire key back. Again, no apology.

The transmission is now slipping again (11K miles) and they say it's our fault.

We took the car in for a rattling noise and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it and charged us $80 to look at it. We took it to Meineke down the street, they looked at it, found the problem, and fixed it for free within an hour. Mossey had the car for a day and a half.

We took the car in and had an order written up to check for smoke coming out from under the hood. I wrote on the ticket that the transmission was replaced 4 months prior and that if the smoke was due to sloppy installation of the transmission, there would be no charge. Someone from Mossey wrote on the ticket (I have a copy) 'sloppy? You do it if you can do it better!

Mossey Ford has consistantly denied claims, and refused to fix our Ford. They claim that all the problems are because we drive the car wrong. We've had several cars and none of them ever had any of these problems. We've driven for years but suddenly we don't know how to drive a car? Anyhow, if anyone can help please feel free to let me know what to do because this is bordering on harassment. Thank you!
