All pro midlothian ripped me off! Beware!

I called All-Pro on the phone to get an estimate on my tranny repair and they incinuated it would only be about $200.00 if all parts inside were good. Then they asked if I wanted them to send a wrecker (which is usually provided free) to get my truck.

When they called to tell me it was ready I asked how much and this is where it got harry... The guy says that "we are gonna move some of the cost over to labor so you don't have to pay as much tax..."Whoa, how much are we talking?" "$540.00"
he said..."What happened to the $200.00", I asked. "Oh. Everything in your tranny was shot" he said.
(incidently I bought a new tranny about 2 years ago and they said they never see all the parts totaled. They even showed me my bad parts and explained why they failed! This was at Ennis Transmission Service, got a 2 year warranty. Go there!)

Well, paid the cash and the tranny puked at least twice and broke down at least three more times, several of which I had to drag it back behind another vehicle. At the end of my one year Warranty (that's a laffff!) It puked again. When I called he said, "oh just bring it back, we'll work something out!"

My dad refused to let me fall into the trap again and insisted I take it to City Motors where it should have gone the first time. I did, and that tranny lasted 3 years with little problem.

I urge all beware... I have never heard anybody that got a square deal from ALL-PRO. This is based on my own experience I should have sued, and know now that I could have won, but the statute of lmitations and my proof have long evaporated.

I urge anyone having car repairs to document fully all costs and warranty work (dates, etc.) that you incurr. You will need proof if and when you get to court. Too many cases go untried and that is why these people get away with this stuff.
