Work you to death and pay you nothing

My husband worked for this company until his lease was complete. We stuck it out living off of a hundred dollar advance per week.in one week, my husband ran 4128 miles and got a paycheck for $4.51. This company will nickel and dime your money away.

They told us that they were taking money out of our account to pay the taxes. We got home to file them and had to go through a huge ordeal because guess what? They took our money in many ways. Took the amount of taxes we owed and took money to cover their expenses to prepare our taxes. Imagine our horror when we find out that taxes had not been paid!

We were hit by a drunk driver in Georgia. We immediately called the company. The damage to our truck was horrible. I have pictures that I will upload later on. The company insurance lady named Helena told us she would help guide us to getting it taken care of. That was the only conversation she was present in. She never returned our calls. Never answered our mail. Lease payment was coming out of a check that was not there since the truck was down.

We were contacted by someone from CR England to let us know to take the truck to a freightliner to ahve the damage estimated. They estimated the damage over $3100. We sent the estimate to CR England and they sent one of "Their" adjustors out and "they" estimated $1000 damange. We had to contact the other truck drivers company. He was taken to jail because of so many charges. We had to deal with his company in getting a settlement. CR England did nothing.
We paid out of pocket for the damages and kept on trucking till the very last day of the lease.

We got the paperwork stating there was nothing else to be fixed on the truck and we were balance ZERO with this company. We signed and dated and left.

Now on our credit is 1 report for $5168 for unknown expenses and another for $2498.63 for lease fees. It will remain there till OOIDA settles our lawsuit. 3 years in the making.

We tell every driver who even acts like they are going to work there not too and share our story. We rip out ads in trucking magazines that we donate. We verbally tell everyone our story.

I will tell you what we did learn working for that company. We learned how to make money last. We learned that without family helping us, we would not have made it. We learned that bologna and a loaf of bread will last a week.
