Wrongful repossession, breach of contract Ripoff

I too have been wronged by this company. I have had perfect payment history and needed to defer a payment by 2 weeks. I called CAC and they agreed to let me defer my payment. A week later my car was repossessed. Under Texas laws, a verbal agreement is valid. The representatives at this company are rude, and insulting. You can't speak to a supervisor or anyone higher up than the rep, why this is allowed I have no clue. CAC expects me to pay $800, to get my van back. After finding this website and seeing that I am not alone in this matter, I can truly say I'm sorry this has happened. These people need to be stopped. I have been on the phone all morning with my lawyer, Texas AG's office and the Michigan AG's Office. Did anyone's dealer put a Passtime box on your vehicle without your knowledge? Mine did, and CAC is saying I signed a contract. I NEVER signed a contract for this box. After about 10 minutes of arguing with one rep, she finally admitted that the contract is not signed, it just has my printed name on it. Therefore they have breached my contract. I hope something is done soon to keep them from doing whatever they want to people!
