Recon Auto Remanufacturing
Co I purchase a motor for my van which lasted 10 months... They replaced the motor with a different one but after it was installed the lifters make such a noise it sounds like a diesel Ripoff

The motor for my 1998 Venture Van was purchased and installed on 11-28-05... It lasted 10 months... I started complaining about it in July... The add coolant lite kept coming on... Finally after about 2 months and a lot of anti-freeze the garage gave it a high pressure test and found that the head gasket was leaking... A new motor was sent for and received but when it was installed and started the lifters were making so much noise it sounded like a diesel... Advance Auto parts wont the mechanic to tell me that nothing was wrong and that it needed broke in... I did not fall off of a turnip truck... I know if it is working or not... Now Recon Auto Remanufacturing are giving me and the garage a very difficult time... I need help... I want another motor... Which I feel I am do... Please advise...
