Review misrepresention of MAZDA 3 i-Touring Sedan and dishonest sales tactics failure to provide vehicle in contract

I filled out a form online to receive quotes from dealers for a new 2006 Mazda 3 i-touring sedan with ABS, Moonroof, 6 disc CD changer, and optional foglights and specified that I was willing to pay up to $30 over invoice.

The same day I was contacted by Andrew from Key Mazda in Hardeeville, SC, near Hilton Head. Andrew claimed he could provide the exact vehicle I wanted, at my price, even the color I wanted. Andrew said he would have the vehicle ready by Friday. He understood it was important for me to have the vehicle ready, since I was traveling 2 hours to the dealership where he was located.

When I got there, the vehicle was not there. I settled for a loaner car until my car was ready Andrew said it would only be a couple days... No big deal. I purchased the car I wanted, without seeing it and financed with Mazda USA.

Once purchased, I was told the vehicle would not be complete with all options installed for at least a week! After about 3 days, they delivered the car to me without options installed.

I was given the choice to drive the car back once all the parts arrived at the dealership or they would provide a loaner car and pick up my vehicle. I chose to let them pick up my vehicle and drive it for me.

After putting me off with excuses for a month, they finally said they could not afford to drive it themselves. I was outraged. Everytime Andrew said they could do something, it was a lie.

They did not have the car when he said they would. They could not transport the car for me in order for them to install equipment included in the contract. Even now, I am continuing to struggle to get my foglights installed.

Do not buy from Key Mazda in Hardeeville, SC. Always be prepared to drop the deal at any point and shop elsewhere. Always be sure to see what you are buying before purchasing.
