Yates Pontiac Dealership
Ripoff, tried to scam me, lied about what was wrong with ca

Cars & Transport

I was driving down the freeway and ended upi running over a big hunk of metal in the road. So, my oil pan had a huge hole in it and was leaking oil bad. I towed it to the dealership and they replaced the oil pan. They charged $800 dollars for that. Everything was fine, or so I though. I drove the car for about 2 days and noticed it was still leaking oil, but only a small amount. So, I took it back to the dealership. They call me up the next day and tell me that my rear main seal has a hole in it. I asked them if they were 100% sure of it, and they said yes. I found that funny because the engine had just been replaced not too long before that. They said that maybe the piece of metal had hit the main seal. I highly doubted that. They told me that if I didn't get it fixed it would just get worse and start leaking a lot of oil. They wanted $1,100 dollars! I didn't listen to them and took the car to someone that I know that does auto mechanics. He looked over my car and told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. The oil pan just needed to be tightened! So, they were going to charge me $1,100 dollars just to tighten an oil pan. I would reccomend staying away from this dealership or go get a second or third opinion cause they will rip you off and take you for all you've got.
