No Interst, No Payment Ripoff

I bought a bed and mattress in January with the NO INTEREST,
NO PAYMENT PLAN FOR ONE YEAR. Right, I made the payment in January it was $300 shy of the entire balance, planning on paying the $300 in February. When I received that bill for February it included $354 in finance charges. They explained that since I did not pay the entire amount I was being billed for all of 2001 interest at 24% interest. The bill I received in January said the minimim payment due was $42 and said nothing about if I did not pay the entire amount I would be accuring $354 in interest for the year 2001. I sent them $900. This procedure was not explained to me when the salesman sold me the bedroom set, I also went back in July and brought a dresser that payment is not due until July.
They took my $900 and applied $598 to the July purchase. Also when we moved the bed that we bought in January that they put together we could not get it apart because of the way they assembled it. This company is a big rip off, with incompetent, people working for them. Beware of their no payment and no interest for a year plan. Because if you cannot make the entire payment on that due date they will sock it to you.
