Ripoff, Fraudulent purchasing tactics

We purchased extended warranties for both of our cars. We were shown packets outlining the "platinum" plan", and authorized automatic withdrawals on our credit card. Big Mistake! We thought we were purchasing the"platinum" service, but were sold the very basic "package".

A few months later we needed repairs to one our automobiles, and of course, the repairs were not covered. Big surprise!

The salesman was fast talking, glib, and misrepresented the services we could expect. It too the better part of a day to contact them, we were then given another number to call after being put on hold for several minutes. No one could explain why our repairs weren't covered, and we were told to read our manual... The incorrect manual in our packets.

Total ripoff! How do these people continue to operate?
