I feel cheated! It is on my credit when I was doing as I was told!

My car was financed by Triad. It was totaled a while back.insurance paid off most of it. I still had a balance. I set up payments to pay off the balance. But Traid reported it to my credit bureau as not being paid. I was never explained this... And when I called to talk to them I was yelled at and told that it was my fault. I could not get a word in.
