Beware! Fraud! Beware! Fraud! Beware!

I purchased a vehicle from this con-man on Ebay (auction # 4637985105) Vehicle stated to be in good clean condition throughout with no problems or damage. Seller also offered to pick me up at the airport.

After flying into Chicago on a rainy day I was greeted by no one from Auto Concepts at our pre arranged time and when I finally got in touch with Chris he said I would need to take a $75 cab ride to his what I now know is a collision repair shop.

When I met Chris the first thing he suprised me with about the vehicle is that it was missing the radio and asked if I had seen it in the pictures. I couldn't have seen it it wasn't visible. Upon further inspection the dash was cracked and damaged in numerous areas, the interior was filthy, the passenger door and rear view mirrors were missing, the rear seats had large tears in the leather but it started and drove okay so I reluctantly drove away with few other options being 450 miles away from home and stuck in a bad situation.

After driving for about 10 miles I started hearing the clicking of the bad front axle and the jerk of the brakes. After arriving home my mechanic informed me I had major leaks from both the engine and transmission, the A/C is out, there was hidden collision damage hidden by the the brush guard, the hood wouldn't open, the small barely noticeable scratch Chris described was over 3 feet and visible from 50 feet. The nerf bars were rusted through and cracking only for one to fall off two weeks later though they had fresh paint.

Before presenting this overwhelming amount of damage to Chris I wanted to get all of my paperwork that he agreed to fill out at delivery settled and requested multiple times that he fill out an "Application for Kentucky Certificate of title / registration" which is required by my County Clerk to accurately register a vehicle, and faxed it to him numerous times. This would have taken 2 minutes. He refused unless I left him positive feedback. That's black mail and I won't accept that for a few hundred bucks.

This guy is an unethical con artist an no more. His vocabulary and grammar are as sorry as his cars. I will file this same complaint with the BBB for all lines of business associated. I will also watch ebay and alert others to this fraud now that he will be changing his screen name again.

He has been known as Chicagoautotrader, Bargainsonsale, and Unlimiteddealsonline and perhaps more. Too many negative feedbacks force him into new names.
