Ripoff, poor service and poor quality

I recently purchased a used pop-up camper from bill thomas rv. While inspecting it the salesman turned on the a/c and we could feel air (not much cold) blowing out. He stated it would take a bit for it to become cold. (it was fairly cool outside anyway) we used the camper for the first time on memorial weekend 2006. A/c didnt blow any cold air at all. Called the center back and they had us bring it in. They stated that there was no freon and no way to purchase this kind any longer. They stated that the whole system would need to be removed and replaced with a new one. My husband went back and forth with a manager there who told us we bought it as is. He spoke to my husband in the rudest manner i have ever encountered from a facility. My husband asked to speak to the owner and the gentleman (if thats what you want to call him) stated "why, i've been here 25 years, you can deal with me". He was also told that his company would receive bad publicity which the man stated that he didn't care. My husband ended up speaking with someone else a few days later who offered us to pay for parts only which were $500.00 and they would charge no labor. We ended up paying the $500.00 to have it fixed instead of picking it up and hauling it somewhere else again. If you search under the bbb website, it has happened to someone else which i wish i would have checked before purchasing anything from them.
