Bobby Taylor's Mr. Transmission
Ripoff Fraudulent Billing Will not uphold Warranty

Bobby Taylor's Mr. Transmission did work on our van. They would only accept CASH for a payment for the work. We paid them 500 dollars in cash before the work was done and then we paid the balance to the employee who was working on it was done. The owner had already left.

We had the employee sign the paperwork stating that we paid him. He admitted that it was not repaired correctly. Bobby Taylor assured us the next day by phone that we could take it to any Mr. Transmission in the US under the warranty and have it repaired correctly.
When we tried to take it to another Mr. Transmission in the state where we live, but they refused to uphold the warranty. The corporate office told us that Bobby Taylor's Mr. Tranmission has burned down and that there are no records that we paid them for the service or the warranty and they will not accept our paperwork as proof. We do not even know if the place really has burned as we live in a totally different state. The coorporate office is making us feel as if we are lying to them when we explain what happened. They tell us that they are no longer in contact with Bobby Taylor.
We assumed that since we have a copy of all the work orders for the job, the employees signature, and the warranty paperwork signed also that it would be enough even though we paid in cash. We never expected them to come back and say that the place has burned and that all their records were burned as well.

I have a disabled daughter. She has "bilateral idiopathic intracranial hypertension" along with a host of other things and we spend a big part of our life traveling to doctors appointments and hospital stays. This was our only means of transportation. I have to drive a very small car now and my whole family cannot ride at the same time, because there is no room for all of us.
