Merchants Tire, Tire Kingdom, NTB TBC Corp. TBC Corp Is Owned By Sumitomo Corp Of Japan Conned me into buying new Run-Flat tire by saying Run-Flat tires could not be repaired. I later found out this was a lie. Ripoff Multiple Cities

I Found a tire flat on my Corvette equiped with Goodyear run flat tires. Took car to Merchants Tire to have tire repaired. I was informed by the mechanic and a manager that Run-flat tires could never be repaired only replaced. I had never heard this but since Merchants is a Goodyear dealer I figured that must be the correct info. So I let them change out the tire.

After returning home I checked Goodyear's online info and found
that run-flats can be repaired almost as easily as any other tire. There is no way that they should not have known about
the repair procedure since these type tires have been on the market for over a decade.

I never thought I would say this but
I should have taken the car to the dealer, since there was no visable damage to the tire They would have patched it and sent me on my way instead of selling me an expensive tire I didn't need.
