General Warrantys Services Have no use for a company like this! No ethics!

Last fall I had nuemerous phone calls from this company wanting me to sign up with them for my auto warranty. They must have called everyday and they already had my info on my vehicle. I kept turning them down until finally I asked them if they would cover the entire transmission in case something happened to that.
The reason for my questioning that part is my daughter had a warranty she had taken out from a dealer and when her transmission went out the warranty people had said they did not cover soft parts and whatever that is her transmission problem was considered that. She had bought the van only a few months when this had happened but it was used. I talked with the dealership and they said they would replace the transmission but they were going to cancel any dealings with that warranty comp. Because they caused the garage all sorts of problems with customers. The dealership felt bad for her. The dealership did cover it and they would not have had too at all. The warranty company did not do anything! By the way hers is a different warranty company.
Anyway that was why I was gun shy on warrantys covering transmissions but General warranty reassured me that they had nothing like that episode and they cover the transmission totally, all parts and no soft parts persay. They said when I got the paperwork I would see that and not have a problem. I am disabled and took them at their word.
I paid for the warranty over 400 dollars and waited for the paperwork to come in. I called several times asking about the delay and come to find out they had my state down as Idaho instead of Iowa, Twice I had to call and get them to change it, the original paperwork going who knows where.
When it finally arived 4 weeks later did I found out they fed me a lot of bull and we did call to cancel and put it in writing. We never had any claims to turn in at all, never used it at all. I turned them into the BBB filled out tons of paperwork, called numbers that were bogus at times that were given to me by them and I am still waiting for a refund that I probably will never see. This was last fall and its now October.
