Ripoff

My grandson purchased a car from the Autohaus in Tacoma, he is in the Army at Ft Lewis Tacoma WA. He called me and asked me to co-sign. I told him I needed to have the dealearship call to find out the particulars.

I spoke with 2 people, Jeff was one. I was assured that they would take all the necessary steps to make sure payments were taken out by the Army as automatic deductions. I was told no problem wwe do it all the time. I also asked of he could show my grandson someething other than a 3 year old car with aprox 80,000 miles. He said he needed a car that wasn't going to break down for him with a good warentee. I told him I would think about it.

In the next hour I received a call from my grandson that he had the car already, that he put 2,500 down and he signed the papers and was given the car. Three days later I received the papers to co-sign, I wasn't going to sign but my grandson said he would lose his money and they told him also the financing would be ok.

When I called the Auto haus about allowing him to drive off without the papers signed they were very rude I knew if I didn't sign He would lose the car and money, and I didn't want to do that to him. Wells fargo is the bank that financed the car. If my grandson is late they call me constantly middle of the night, weekends 2 or 3 times some days, always a different person.

Rude, Rude, threatening to take his car and sell it for half price. I have paid some toward the car to get them off my back. I have requested a copy of the contract very often, no contract. They added 200.00 a month for their own insurance. My grandson has insurance. These people saw an 18 year old soldier, away from home and really took advantage.

I think it is terrible. Both the Autohaus and Wells argo are fradulant. Something should be done
