Received a phone call from "Grandson" saying that he was in jail in Mexico City. He said he had a lawyer and that was the end of conversation with Grandson. Chris Jenkins called me right after that and told me a long story about how the grandson got into trouble. I foolishly believed him and spent 3 hours all over Hermitage and Sharon to get the money sent to Grandson. The amoount begin with $2203.00, but WU would not send over $1999: so Chris "paid $700. And I was to send $1520.00 which I did at the cost of $92.00. So I am out $1620.00. I called my daughter this morning and she talked to the real grandson Tuesday in Colorado. If this isn't a scam, what is it? How do I report this so no one else sends money like I did?
