Charged me more than the city ordinance allowed Ripoff

Bexar Towings own website Bexartowing.org proves the company knowingly continues to charge customers rates over the amount specified by city ordinance, when I went to pick up my car the fee schedule was not posted in an obvious manner, (violation of state towing laws) it was posted in such a way that you could only see it after you paid and then turned around. The company alludes to the fact that they can charge 1.5 times that amount under state law for non consent tows, but did not inform me or its other victims of the city ordinance. (which under state law has the right to limit the ammount collected) Since this ordinance was passed in 2002 and my vehicle was towed in 2005 there can be no mistaking the fact that this company intentionally STOLE money from me, using coercion and my vehicle as leverage, forcing me to pay them, depriving me of information that they should have provided at the time, but choose to hide it. The fact that they kept within the limits of the state laws shows they have contempt for the enforcement of the city ordinance, they know the city cant shut them down for this, and they know that most people are not going to pursue $43.5 dollars in court! They choose to do this as a measured and calculated risk. I seriously hope that the city will obtain the records from this company and enforce fines for all violations regardless of complaints, the company should be made to contact every one of its victims and hand deliver the amounts stolen from them. No doubt in my mind someone will find this report because they looked up Bexar Towing on the web, if your situation is similar to mine contact the City of San Antonio Police department they will route you to wrecker services, a branch of the police that deals with these crooks on a regular basis. The owner of the company feels he is being discriminated against by the police, and has filed a lawsuit which is now pending for his lost income, IT IS IRONIC THAT 25% of the income he recieved (from me) is Stolen, I hope enough people visit this site and complain to the police that they file criminal charges against Mr "TAKE ME TO COURT" John Deloach! Your actions are what brought you that attention from the Police, and your continued actions will demand more attention in the future.
