Illegal towing of legally parked vehicle in local apartment complex

My son drove to austin from georgetown, tx - where we live - to visit his grandmother. He parked his toyota 4runner in a head in parking spot with no signs nor markings and was towed by j & j towing within thirty minutes. They had to be watching him park to have snatched his truck that fast. Of course, the toothless renegade on the phone with j & j claims that they have signs up, but that is untrue. How can a rogue, unethical, unlawful, low life company like this be allowed to continue this thievery unchecked??? Must be part of the "keep austin weird" campaign. It's f'in weird, alright. I grew up there and cant stand to even go into town anymore b/c of sh*t like this. We'll file a police report. Perhaps a small claims court case. But you know as well as i do that nothing will happen to reprimand these inbred, lowlife, losers at j & j towing. The a*hole on the phone (joe) had the audacity to tell me that..."we make more money than any other towing company around". I said, "no sh*t, joe! You're unethical crooks. Congratulations, idiot. How do you sleep knowing you're preying on innocent people and ripping them off blind? He claimed to be "going to school" and just "doing his job". What a slug. My son is on the way down there with our $200 to get his truck back because its the only way to do it. I just talked with austin police department and they told me over and over the the apartment complex has a contract with the towing company and is responsible for this illegal activity. I made the clerk file a police report anyway. It was called a towing ordinance violation report. But clearly, the pd's are doing nothing about this kind of unethical towing activity and do not intend to do anything about it. So these criminally negligent money grubbing towing scumbags will live to tow and rip you off another day. Maybe finally one day, enough of you will get towed that the people will rise up and say "enough is enough". Until then, bend over and grab the vaseline... Because you're not going to get any help from apd nor anyone else for that matter.
