Ripoff auto financing

I am writing about SAFCO, this company is the worst company to do business with. Here it goes, we bought a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport through Champion Dealers in Corpus Christi. Well, we got the loan for 36 months. For 18 months straight we are doing fine, no late payments, NOTHING!

Four months ago, we end up in some real financial issues, and we got behind 2 months. Well, we get better and I call to make a payment, and the representative that answers, asks me to put me on hold, and she transfers me to this guy whose name is Alejandro Pinero, I believe. Well, he says that he is the person in charge of our account, and at the time he wants 3 payments or the vehicle. I found it kind of odd, that we were behind 2 months, and he wanted 3 payments.

Extremely rude and harrassing me that he had all the power in the world to take my only vehicle away. Well, it is Dec. 02, and I call in to make the 3 payments he wanted. Well, he says, with horrible words, in english and spanish, that he just wants the vehicle, and does not feel like making any arrangements with me. He said that he would take the vehicle, just because he could and that he could prove it to me.

Time goes by (2 weeks to be exact), and my husband is ready to go to work, goes outside and our Montero is not there. I call the cops and they say that SAFCO has repoed it and that they cannot give me any further information.

Well, it's 5 in the morning, my husband calls a cab, we live in Austin, super hard to catch a cab at that hour. My husband is very late to work, we are crying having to explain our 3 year old why his new power ranger motorcyle and his black truck is not outside. Well, I wait for 8: ooam to call SAFCO, and again the representative puts me on hold, transfers me to this man again. He answers and is actually laughing, that he did what he had promised me, take our only vehicle away, only because he could.

Well, he wants 4700.00 500.00 for repo charges the owed payments. I tell him to give me the information as where my vehicle is so we can go get our belongings. We get to this horrible place, it's like a junkyard. There we get treated like trash, like criminals. They don't even let us see our keys to the vehicle. We get our belongings which are all in black trash bags on the floor. We dump the bags one by one, to check that everything was in there. We know that our bluetooth headset was always in the glove compartment.

Well, it's not in any of the bags, and my husband kindly asks the lady for it, or to go check the truck. She tells my husband in a really bad manner, that she will go look but, that the guy who generally cleans the vehicles is real good about making sure everything is picked up. She comes back like 2 seconds later, that she found nothing, and that if we were done, we had to leave the place.

So, not only did we loose our vehicle, had the worst christmas ever, they kept our 100$ bluetooth headset. Now we have a repo on my husbands credit report, and we are on foot. No one will help us get a vehicle, anywhere.
