Collusion between adjusters, ripoff

This summer my wife was rear-ended, but starting with the patrolman and eventually ending with my own Insurance company we were not trated fairly. English is a second language to my wife, so the patrolman favored the young female high school student and her male friend who rear ended our car, saying that he would write up the accident as no falut, even though our car was hit directly in the rear. He then said it appeared that my wife may have changed lanes and the damage was off to one side.

The repair company that took pictures and replaced the bumper said that the impact showed that it was squarly in the center of the bumper. A first the adjusters were saying that someone would be found at fault in this case, until they found out the othewr driver was also represented by State farm. Then the story became they could not detewrmine who was really at fault since the drivers in the rear car both said my wife changed lanes and slammed on brakes causing them to hit our car.

The real issues comes in when we all of a sudden it became a no fault/shared fault accident, we both ended up paying our deductable to have the cars repaired. I always thought that the benefit of the doutl went the to car in front if there was no evidence to the contrary.

As soon as possible after they paid the rest of the repair fees, I cancelled my membership figuring that if this was not in our favor, nothing would ever be in our favor in the future primarily because my wife did not speak english as a first language and too many people have state farm so they would always take our deductible.By the way this really upset my wife and hurt her trust in the system, because she knew she had done nothing wrong.
