Bob's Towing
Company Towed me from my own aparment complex, two times. After knowing that I lived there the first time I payed the fee. Ripoff

Bob's Towing Co. Has towed my car two times this past week from my own apartment complex. The first time I was towed, Fri, 1/27,2:00AM, I agreed to pay the $135.00 fine because my parking sticky note my apartment complex gave me almost 2 years ago had probably gone out the window.

The sticker it self does not have any adhesive properties other then static so it is difficult to determine when it's going to fall out.

Fri, 1/27,8:30AM

I picked up my car from the towing lot, I explained to the tow driver Bob, that I was a resident at 1114 frame St and that my car should not been towed that I pay my rent there and I am authorized to park there. Bob did not ask for any form of ID as he released the car to me that day. He did not ask for any proof of insurance or car ownership. He also insisted in me paying cash only.
During that same incident I explained that new sticky permit would be obtain on Monday since I would very likely have to work over the weekend and the apartment management would be closed after weekend business hours.

Monday, Jan 30th

I walked out and saw that my car was gone once again. I walked to the side of the building, and there was also a car parked who did not have an appropriate parking permit and is not a resident of the apartment complex, this car did not get towed that night.

The apartment management was notified, they tryed to call the guy and reason with him so that I could have my car back. How ever the insisted in me caughing up 135.00 bucks, again.

The apartment complex insist they dont have any written agreement with the guy, I dont know if a verbal agreement counts for anything between them.

I find it unjust that this person has towed me two times in a three day period, knowing that I am a resident the second time around and me having made arrangements with him that I would have a sticker the following Monday.

It is oviously that there is loop holes in the law that allow people like this to take advantage of others I find it repulsive that there's nothing I can do to stop them.
