I went to visit a family member who lives at The Oaks Apartment located at 1171 Bandera Rd. The family member said that I could park at the complex using a "Visitors Permit" which I put on my rearview mirror that was clearly visable. When I was leaving the complex I was walking towards where my car was parked and saw that my car was no longer there. A member of my family who lives there went to the managers office to inquire about my vehicle and found out that my car had indeed been towed. The Manager at the Apartment complex said that there are certain parking areas where a visitor cannot park. There are NO visable signs anywhere outside the complex warning visitors where NOT to park. The Apartment Manager is aware that many cars have been towed at the complex and that there was nothing that she could do. Yet she is still issuing Visitors Permits and visitors unknowingly park at the complex and the result is GETTING YOUR CAR TOWED! This also happpened to another family member and now does not come and visit anyone who lives at the complex for fear of getting their car towed. Is it common practice for the Towing Company to park at the complex and walk around the complex looking for cars to tow? This is what is happening. I feel that my car being towed was unjust. This Towing Company should refund the overpayment of the $218.00 I paid through no fault of my own It is not right and I feel I was wronged. Please look into this matter as I feel The Apartment Manager at the Oaks Apartment and the All Tex Towing are BOTH at fault.
