I just want everyone to think before they bother to sign up for this service.

Last night Jan 13 at about 8:40 pm I was returning from a shopping trip about 32 miles from my home. I had gotten 22 miles from home when the left rear tire on my car blew. I got the car off the highway as much as I could onto the shoulder. It was dark & sleeting. I immediately called triple AAA the first time I have ever used the service. The lady who answered couldn't have been nicer. I explained where I was to her & the problem. I also told her that I was nervous sitting there alone. She said you would put a priority on the call & someone would contact me back within 10 minutes on when I could expect someone. I than called my husband & told him the problem he was 22 miles from where I was. 20 minutes after my first call to AAA a man called back asking if I was one on the interstate. I told him no I again explained where I was on 41 south. One and a half miles north of where 246 crosses 41. He said OK he would dispatch someone. I asked him how long all he would say is he would dispatch someone. Over 20 minutes have passed since my 1st call too AAA & still they have not yet dispatched anyone. My husband finally got there & he went ahead and changed my tire for me.
Its now been over an hour & no one has called back or shown up from triple A.

Where I had the flat tire is on a four lane high way 15 miles south of a major city Terre Haute Indiana. As far as we are concerned our membership in Triple A wasn't worth a penny to us. Or maybe it would be good if you broke down between 9 & 5 on a weekday but forget it if its after hours!
