Tire Scam

The manager said that the Goodyear Z-rated (high-speed) tires that I requested were in stock and told me to come in right now to have them mounted. When I arrived, he said that he did not have them, but had equivalent ones from a different manufacturer for the same price. After I noticed that the new tires did not grip the road as well as the old ones, I decided to compare the sidewall information of the new ones to the old ones. The new ones were not Z-rated and normally sold for much less than the Z-rated ones.
